Position Title(s)
Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor
Job SummaryAs a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high‑performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.
- Customer
Experience:
Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service. - Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers.
- Innovation & Problem‑Solving: Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations.
- Additional duties and projects as required.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
- Leadership
Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Analytical
Skills:
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions. - Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Tech‑Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
- Minimum Requirements: Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, and All Management must meet specified availability, transportation, and language requirements (details below).
- Assistant Store Manager:
Open availability, including daytime and nighttime to open and close the store; minimum standard work week of 5 days, average 44 hours with increased hours during peak periods. - Supervisor:
Availability to open and close the store, minimum of 5 days per week, minimum 30 hour work week. - All Management:
Availability on weekends and holidays; reliable transportation; punctuality and regular attendance. - Must speak English clearly, read and write English, perform basic business mathematics.
- May require relocation within company network based on operational needs.
- Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged standing up to 14 hours per day; stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders; lifting items 5–25 lbs repeatedly; good vision including color differentiation; moderately noisy environment. - Must be at least 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Assistant Manager: $17.38 - $20.50 per hour with bonus opportunities if store KPIs are met.
- Supervisor: $14.77 - $14.77 per hour.
- All roles eligible for company 401K plan. Full‑time roles eligible for medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company‑paid time off.
