Job Summary
The Grouting Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling grouting equipment, pumps, mixers, injection systems, and related construction solutions to contractors, engineering firms, mining operations, tunneling companies, and industrial customers. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, providing technical product support, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new sales opportunities for grouting and specialty construction equipment.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations and equipment presentations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and bid submissions.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to recommend equipment solutions.
- Provide training and technical support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales forecasts using CRM software.
- Coordinate with service and parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial, construction equipment, or heavy equipment sales experience.
- Knowledge of grouting equipment, concrete pumping, geotechnical construction, mining, tunneling, or foundation repair industries is highly desirable.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain equipment specifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license.
- Understanding of grout mixing, pumping, and injection technologies.
- Experience reading construction plans and specifications.
- CRM software proficiency.
- Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Combination of office, field, and customer site work.
- Frequent travel to construction sites, mines, industrial facilities, and customer offices.
- Occasional lifting of demonstration equipment and materials.
- Participation in trade shows and industry events.
