Security Officer - Unarmed Driving

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in WINCHESTER, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring an agile, reliable, and caring approach while working as part of a team and acting with integrity each day.

Pay Rate: $19.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points, visitor and/or vendor activity, and vehicle traffic to help deter unauthorized entry and support site protocols.
• Assist with reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and support coordinated response efforts with site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
