As a Security Officer Credential Control in WINCHESTER, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and help to deter incidents through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity in a dynamic environment.

Pay Rate: $19.22 / Hour

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor access points, truck gates, and receiving areas to help support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and merchandise throughout the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter, noting conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Assist with emergency response activities, visitor processing, and communication with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
