Maintain custody of individuals brought to the hospital in law enforcement custody under Emergency Custody Orders or Temporary Detention Orders and oversee custody until a treatment facility is identified;
Respond to emergencies and calls for service within the hospital campus including incidents with combative individuals, fire alarms, or other safety events;
Perform inspections for hazards and safety equipment, test and verify safety systems, lock/unlock doors, and handle trespassing issues;
Document all rounds and incidents through reports and utilize RMS Public Safety incident system and VHS Risk Management system;
Provide security escorts, protect staff and patients, assist in transfers and patient safety, and support law enforcement during ECO/TDO processes
