This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to jump start their career. This technician role supports field activities involved in installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for commercial customers.

• Assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation
• Use technical abilities to maintain systems
• Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Work safely and follow all safety measures at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• HVAC trade school graduate preferred with strong attendance
• 1+ years in mechanical support role; some hands-on HVAC experience preferred
• EPA Certification – Type I & Type II or Universal preferred
• NATE certification a plus
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to climb ladders
• Moderate lifting (up to 90 pounds)
• Technical aptitude for maintenance, service, and troubleshooting equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
• Ability to work independently and self-schedule
• Self-motivated with time management
• Driven to succeed with minimal supervision
• Availability for weekend and night work occasionally
• Willingness to relocate after training
• Local travel may be required

• Technicians install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial rooftop HVAC units; work may be performed independently
• Ability to access rooftops via ladder, work at heights
• Load/unload tools and equipment from a work van
• Lifting up to 75 lbs, occasional heavier lifting up to 125 lbs with assistance
• Push/pull wheeled carts up to 150 lbs
• Climb ladders to roof height and extend reach overhead

Compensation
This is an hourly non-exempt role. Salary range for this role is $36,000 – $45,000 annually, depending on geography, tenure, performance, skills, education, and experience. Overtime may be earned beyond 40 hours per week as required by state law. No bonus eligibility for this role.
