Malloy Chevrolet in Winchester is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Medium Duty Diesel Service Technician to join our growing service department. This position focuses on diagnosing and repairing medium-duty diesel trucks with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with OEM factory standards. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality service and continuous learning.

- Perform diagnostic and repair work on medium-duty diesel vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and drivetrain systems
- Follow repair orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
- Document all repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations clearly and accurately
- Perform test drives to confirm proper repairs and performance
- Tag and return warranty parts per OEM and dealership policies
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Complete required factory training and certifications to stay current with OEM technology
- Provide exceptional service by communicating clearly and professionally with service advisors and team members
- Ensure safety procedures and dealership policies are followed at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience:
3+ years of Medium-Duty or Diesel Service Technician experience preferred - CDL license a plus
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Certifications:
ASE certifications and/or OEM factory training preferred - Technical
Skills:
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues - Strong understanding of diesel engine performance and maintenance procedures

Able to communicate clearly with both teammates and customers - Team Player:
Willing to collaborate and assist with shop-wide goals, positive attitude, self-motivated - License:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
