Residential Service Plumber

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking a Residential Service Plumber to diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems for customers in the Memphis area. In this field role, you'll handle service calls, troubleshoot issues, perform repairs and replacements, and explain solutions clearly to homeowners. You'll work with in a safety-first, customer-focused culture that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and integrity, with year-round work, advanced training, and clear paths to grow your plumbing career in a leading national service organization.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, including fixtures, water heaters, and piping
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls while providing timely, high-quality workmanship
• Perform leak detection, drain cleaning, and routine maintenance to prevent system failures
• Explain findings, repair options, and pricing clearly to homeowners and obtain approvals
• Follow ARS-Rescue Rooter safety protocols, codes, and company standards on every job
• Complete work orders, service tickets, and documentation accurately using company systems
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, organized, and safe condition
• Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and teammates to ensure efficient routing and customer satisfaction
• Promote additional services, maintenance plans, and upgrades that benefit the customer
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training to maintain and improve plumbing skills
