Heavy Equipment Operator

Skillforce is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for ongoing project work in Lake Frederick, Virginia. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators, dozers, loaders, or backhoes on active job sites and keeping the grade and dirt work moving. You will work Monday through Friday with an early morning start and be home every night.

• Up to $28.00 per hour, W-2,based on your experience level.

  Friday, 8 hour shifts with an early morning start.
• Ongoing project work, and youare home every night,with no overnight travel.
• Operate heavy equipment on activejob sites, including excavators, dozers, loaders, and backhoes.
• Grade,excavate, and prepsites ahead of thebuild, working fromsite plans and grade stakes.
• Load andmove material aroundthe site and support other trades and laborers as work progresses.
• Inspect your equipment at thestart of each shiftand report any mechanical issues toyour supervisor.
• Keep your work zoneclean, safe, and organized, and followthe site's daily safety briefing.

• You have prior experience operating heavy equipment suchas excavators,dozers, loaders, or backhoes.
• You are comfortable running equipment solo and working safely on anactive job site.
• You can read basicsite plans and grade stakes, and you communicate well withyour crew andsupervisor.
• Youhold a valid driver license and havereliabletransportation to thejob site.
• You mustpass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, andyou must be authorized to work inthe U.S.
