Public Services Technician-Traffic

• Maintains inventory of parts and sign material and marking materials
• Applies pavement marking materials
• Assists during construction projects in implementing traffic detours
• Assists other City departments during special events such as Apple Blossom with traffic control
• Responds to urgent traffic related calls whenever necessary
• Assists with maintaining traffic signals
• Performs snow removal operations, i.e., chemical spreading, plowing, shoveling, scraping, etc.

• Makes and installs traffic signs

Education and/or

Experience:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the ninth-grade.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Possession of a valid driver's license.
