Overview We are seeking a motivated HVAC/Burner Service Technician Trainee to join our dynamic team. This paid training position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in HVAC systems, burner equipment, and mechanical systems while gaining valuable hands-on experience. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, burners, boilers, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems.

Learn to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and building automation systems to diagnose issues effectively.

Support senior technicians in troubleshooting electrical diagnostics, equipment failures, and system malfunctions.

Gain experience in HVAC system repair, installation, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Develop skills in HVAC design principles relevant to system upgrades or new installations.

Maintain a focus on customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their needs are met professionally.

Qualifications Construction experience or familiarity with mechanical systems is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential.

Previous service technician experience or exposure to HVAC or burner equipment is a plus.

Basic understanding of schematics, electrical systems, and HVAC/R (refrigeration) components is advantageous.

Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, installation, or maintenance is highly valued.

Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; familiarity with building automation systems is a bonus.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; van driver experience is beneficial.

Strong customer service skills with an enthusiastic attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment.

EPA certification or willingness to obtain it during training; knowledge of electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting will support your success.
