Foster Family Recruitment & Licensing Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Interprets and applies laws, policies, and regulations in assigned area of responsibility, specifically, resource family homes, foster care, adoption and child protective services

* Maintains a general knowledge of child welfare policies and principles

* Completes Mutual Family Assessments and reassessments of resource families, kinship families and ICPC

* Maintains licensing standards for all resource homes in accordance with policy. Accurately maintains reporting and documentation on the licensing status of all resource homes.

* Engages in retention activities of resource families

* Monitor, coordinates, and administers recruitment activities that generate the quantity and quality of inquiries for viable licensed resource homes

* Maintains and implements an annual recruitment plan

* Monitors, coordinates, and administers PRIDE and other ancillary trainings

* Performs case management activities for all resource family homes

Requirements:

* Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or minimum of a bachelor's degree in any related field and completion of required training programs or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

* Minimum two years of experience in assigned program area

* Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and a Commonwealth of Virginia Social Work License preferred

* Valid driver's license
