School Psychologist in Winchester, VA

Your expertise will help foster positive educational outcomes as you collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week.

• Valid Virginia Psychologist License required
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education procedures
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with virtual service delivery platforms, if opting for remote work

• Conduct educational and psychological assessments
• Provide direct and consultative services for students, staff, and families
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Support development of interventions and accommodations to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Serve as a resource for mental health awareness and positive school climate initiatives
