- Undertake Child and Family Assessments, making evidence-based recommendations and plans to improve outcomes and reduce risk.
- Lead and contribute to Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children processes where required.
- Develop and implement family-centred support plans that build on strengths and promote sustainable change.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England are necessary.
- Successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) where applicable is advantageous.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development is essential to continue growing in this field.
- Experience working within Children’s Social Care services, specifically managing complex cases involving significant risk and vulnerability, is required.
- Demonstrable experience undertaking statutory assessments and safeguarding interventions is essential.
