Key Responsibilities

As a Swim Team Coach, you will:

• Plan and lead swim team practices.
• Organize and coordinate swim meets in collaboration with the Shenandoah Valley Swim League.
• Supervise practices and swim meets, ensuring a safe and positive experience for all participants.
• Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and league representatives.
• Enforce pool safety rules and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Represent Frederick County Parks & Recreation with professionalism and enthusiasm.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must possess certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR.
