Delivery Helper

Position Summary: The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day and maintaining the truck and equipment.

• Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately. Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. in order to carry materials (e.g., drywall materials and joint compound).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while collaborating with others to complete the job. Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with Field Operations and Field Support Center team members. • Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.
• Constantly moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site.

• Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.
• Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Constantly working in an outside environment while making deliveries.
