A BESS Regional Construction Manager at Irby Construction acts as the backbone of the entire project. It is a position of great responsibility, requiring complete and thorough technical knowledge of the BESS construction process and also, strongest possible focus on quality. This position will be the leader who conceptualizes the BESS construction project, and is responsible for its smooth organization, implementation and completion, to the satisfaction of the customer.

This position will also lead in executing a strategic plan, as it relates to BESS construction, by establishing priorities and determining resource allocation for efficient and effective delivery of all BESS construction projects.

• Oversee selection and coordination of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.
• Responsible for proper administration of BESS construction contracts, and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
• Track and control BESS construction schedules and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated.
• Report to senior management on progress and any necessary modifications of plans.
• Strategic Planning – Work with senior leadership to develop long term plans for the organization around growth and development of BESS construction capacity.
• Manage staffing and schedules related to the day-to-day BESS construction aspects of projects.
• Review progress reports, check on any reported difficulties, and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
• Determine appropriate revenue recognition measures, ensure timely and accurate reporting of project costs, and monitor payables for project.
• Understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and make decisions accordingly.
• Guarantee project legal documents, permits, inspections etc., are completed and signed.
• Create long-term department plans and work with staff to create and adhere to individual annual and 90-day plans.
• Work with the leadership to develop a cost-effective budget, schedule and tracking system for completion of multiple projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
• Bring about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensure their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
• Implement various operations through proper coordination.
