Supporting Gainesville, GA and surrounding areas, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Team at Utili Quest, LLC as a Field Supervisor.
Utili Quest, LLC is a leading provider of quality underground utility damage prevention. The Field Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Center Manager and manages the workflow of employees, creating schedules and delegating tasks, assessing performance, and ensuring business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met.
What You’ll Do- Build and supervise a team of Damage Prevention Technicians who understand key performance indicators and business economics.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture for all employees.
- Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control.
- Conduct audits on field personnel to verify that quality standards are met.
- Provide performance reviews, regular feedback, and development opportunities for technicians.
- Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, excavators, regulators, employees, and the public.
- Assist the Center Manager in identifying strengths and weaknesses of technicians.
- Help technicians locate difficult-to-find utilities.
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to identify staffing needs, interview, and make final hiring decisions.
- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a professional appearance.
- Validate and approve daily personnel time reports.
- Develop, mentor, and evaluate technicians, overseeing employee engagement and morale.
- Complete Job Safety Observations (JSOs) for technicians.
- Produce tickets and perform weekend work as required.
- Complete other duties as needed.
- Complete and maintain all required training.
- Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies.
- Maintain punctuality and attendance at all shifts and training sessions.
- Perform work in all weather conditions and during normal and after‑hours periods.
- Regularly use hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools.
- Be able to reach overhead above shoulders, bend at the waist, stand or walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Have specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Hearing and speaking enough to exchange information.
- Follow all safety rules at all times.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
