Material Handler (Warehouse Packer)
Pay Rate: $17.00
Schedule (Days and Time): 1st shift 8am-5pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler (Packer) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role involves crucial tasks related to the picking, packing, and staging of chemical products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment, ensuring that each package is labeled correctly and prepared for transport.
* Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, adhering to all safety protocols.
* Conduct daily cycle counts to manage inventory effectively and keep warehouse stock organized.
* Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and compliance with chemical handling standards.
* Frequently lift and move products weighing between 50-70 lbs and remain standing for extended periods throughout the shift.
Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehousing role is preferred; however, entry-level candidates may be considered based on skills and potential.
* Basic computer skills are essential for tasks such as printing labels and entering data into inventory systems.
* Ability to operate, or willingness to learn to operate, forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
