Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation. Basic math skills required for measuring materials, tracking production, and inventory management.
Experience Requirements 2+ years of previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production, tube mill operations, or industrial environments. Experience operating production machinery and material handling equipment is beneficial. Overhead crane experience is a plus. Familiarity with equipment maintenance, quality inspections, and production processes preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn machine operation and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take direction from supervisors and operators. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe material handling practices.
Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Ability to safely work around industrial machinery, moving equipment, and overhead cranes. Steel-toe shoes.
Job Duties Assist with the setup, operation, and monitoring of tube mill equipment to support efficient production and minimize downtime. Prepare, load, and transport raw materials while ensuring correct material quantities and specifications are used. Support routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs to maintain safe and reliable operations. Perform quality inspections of finished products, identify defects or production issues, and report concerns to supervisors.
Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and inventory records while ensuring materials and supplies are properly organized. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
