You start your shift as a safety leader—checking lockout/tagout points, walking the line, and ensuring everyone on the floor follows the rules. With the Red Bud console at your fingertips, you review customer orders and engineered layouts, dial in your setup, and bring coil to spec: level, cut to length, then stack and weigh flat sheets across a variety of gauges—all to precise customer requirements.

Throughout the run, you verify quality using drawings and precision measuring tools, coordinate moves with cranes and lifting devices, and keep production flowing smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll doSet up and operate Red Bud automatic leveling and sheeting equipment via console controls.

Level coil, cut to length, and stack and weigh flat sheets to exact customer specifications across multiple gauges.

Work directly from customer orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions.

Lead by example on safety; ensure personal compliance and reinforce safe behavior among coworkers and visitors.

Inspect material for quality conformance using precision instruments and drawings; adjust as needed.

Collaborate with crane operators and use ancillary lifting devices safely and effectively.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to elevate safety, quality, and efficiency.

What you’ll bring

Mechanical aptitude; production-oriented mindset with strong safety and quality focus.

General knowledge of overhead crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.

Basic math proficiency and functional literacy.

Self-motivated; able to perform under general supervision.

High attention to detail; ability to interpret drawings and verify conformance with measuring devices.

Working knowledge of general computer programs (preferred).

Experience with precision instruments (preferred).Team orientation and effective communication skills (preferred).Core proficiencies

Mechanical troubleshooting.
