Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

$14.00 to $17.00 per hour. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. A pawnbroker/retail sales associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales and loans, and assists with customer inquiries and problem resolution.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandised displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods in accordance with federal, state, and local law.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearm certification if needed.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve stored items.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math calculation proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate, able to operate POS systems and office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers may earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of personal performance. Detailed information will be provided during the interview process.
