$17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Commission structure pays you for every transaction you process.
Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging $4.49 per hour on top of hourly rate.
Position SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management experience. The role is accountable for day‑to‑day operations, fosters a positive environment, partners with the Store Manager, and drives financial and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and addressing issues promptly.
- Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit and retain top talent via company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and enforce asset‑protection procedures.
- Maintain inventory control, property safety, and documentation for customer loans.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and meet profitability goals.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to safeguard loan quality.
- Complete assigned training and development tasks.
- Communicate mission and profit objectives clearly to employees.
- Stay current on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty when Store Manager is absent.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Physical ability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- Willingness to assist customers outside building and retrieve items from exterior storage.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule: weekends and holidays.
- Will work 40+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed.
- Computer literate with POS and office systems.
- Strong multi‑tasking, detail‑oriented, organized, and analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Independent work ability with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

- Unlimited commission above hourly base rate; commission up to 8% on transactions.
- Paid vacation: 1 week after 6 months, additional week after 1 year, then 2 weeks each anniversary up to 5 years.
- Paid sick/personal: 8 hours after 6 months, 16 hours each anniversary (years 2‑5), 24 hours after 5 years.

Assistant Store Managers can earn between 2% and 8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
