As a Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials in liquid bulk tankers. You will drive regional routes with weekly home time.

• Safely operate trucks in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow all company and government safety regulations and policies.
• Complete all pre‑ and post‑trip inspections in accordance with USDOT regulations and company policies.
• Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) to maintain hours‑of‑service logs in compliance with USDOT regulations.
• Wear required PPE (masks, gloves, chemical suits, boot coverings, eye, ear, and face protection).
• Follow SOP for filling and discharging materials.
• Couple or uncouple trailers by changing jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth‑wheel locks.
• Crank trailer landing gear up or down to secure vehicles.
• Check all load‑related documentation for completeness and accuracy; read bills of lading to determine assignment details; collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks (adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid, minor repairs).
• Execute emergency roadside repairs (changing tires, installing light bulbs or tire chains).
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Class A CDL (unrestricted) required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• At least 24 months of verifiable commercial vehicle operating experience within the last 36 months in similar equipment on public highways (interstate and/or intrastate commerce). Similar equipment includes 5‑axle articulated trailer equipment.
• No more than three moving violations in the last 36 months.
• No more than one serious violation in the last 36 months.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, demonstrate driving techniques, and sit for extended periods.
• Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass and maintain a USDOT physical.
