The Driver Assistant supports the delivery driver with the safe and efficient distribution of beverages to retail stores, restaurants, and other customer locations. This position involves loading and unloading products, assisting with deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, and providing professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the driver with loading and unloading beverages from delivery vehicles.
- Deliver cases, kegs, and other beverage products to customers.
- Safely move products using hand trucks, carts, and other equipment.
- Verify product quantities and delivery orders for accuracy.
- Assist with organizing products at customer locations.
- Collect empty containers, pallets, and other returnable items.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
- Perform other delivery-related duties as assigned.
- Previous delivery, warehouse, or beverage distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy cases repeatedly.
- Ability to work early mornings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Valid driver's license is required.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull beverage products and equipment, including cases that may weigh 40-50+ pounds, and remain on your feet for extended periods
