Part-Time Office Administrative Assistant & Spanish Community Liaison – Willimantic, CT | Care Co Home Care
Care Co Home Care is seeking a bilingual, organized, and community-minded individual to join our Willimantic office in a dual-role capacity. This part-time position combines office administration with Spanish-language community outreach — making it an ideal fit for someone who is both operationally strong and deeply connected to the local Hispanic community.
Schedule: 1 to 2 days per week
Compensation: $22 to $28 per hour, depending on experience
- General clerical and administrative support
- Managing documentation, records, and filing
- Scheduling and coordination of client and caregiver appointments
- Data entry and office system management
- Supporting day-to-day office operations
- Communicating with staff, clients, and caregivers professionally and efficiently
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients, families, and caregivers
- Assist with intake, onboarding, and orientation for Spanish-speaking clients
- Translate verbal and written communications as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with local Hispanic community organizations, churches, and referral sources
- Support outreach efforts to expand Care Co's presence in the Spanish-speaking community
- Help identify and address cultural or language barriers in service delivery
- Bilingual in English and Spanish — required
- Experience in a home care, healthcare, or social services setting preferred
- Background in scheduling, data entry, or client coordination a plus
- Must be local to Willimantic or the surrounding area
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with office technology and systems
- Reliable, professional, and culturally sensitive
