Program Aide

Seeking a part time aide to run activities and provide supervision for young children at United Services in Plainfield four mornings a week during the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and facilitate activities designed for elementary-aged children, ensuring they are educational, fun, and age-appropriate.

* Provide active supervision, maintaining a safe and positive environment.

* Assist with setup and cleanup of activities and spaces.

* Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging participation and positive interactions among children.

* Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents as needed.

Qualifications:

* Experience working with children in a group setting, such as in a school, camp, or daycare environment.

* Ability to manage groups of young children safely and positively.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Patience, creativity, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

* Availability for two afternoon shifts per week during the school year.
