The Assistant Professor of Nursing is a full-time, on-site role based in Windham, CT. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses, developing curriculum, advising and mentoring students, and conducting research to advance nursing education and best practices. The Assistant Professor will also actively participate in departmental and university service, assist in program development, and engage in scholarship activities that contribute to the field of nursing education.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in Nursing and Nursing Education, supported by relevant academic and professional credentials
- Experience in Curriculum Development to design and implement innovative and effective learning experiences
- Specialization or experience in Pediatrics and Medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or a closely related field required; advanced clinical certifications are a plus
- Experience in higher education teaching and a record of professional development or scholarly activities
