At the State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) we are recruiting for a Related Education Department Head to join our team at Windham Technical High School in Windham, CT.

To be considered for this position, the THS Department Head must posses an active State of Connecticut teaching certificate in one of the following areas:

* Active State of Connecticut teaching certificate (#105 Department Chairperson or #092 Intermediate Administration or Supervision AND any of the following: #029 Mathematics 7-12, #030 Biology 7-12, #031 Chemistry 7-12, #032 Physics 7-12, #033 Earth Science 7-12, #034 General Science, #047 Technology Education PK-12, #043 Physical Education PK-12/#044 Health PK-12 or Eligible for a State of Connecticut teaching certificate in subject area (includes ARC candidates)

* Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7 hours/day

* Location:

Windham Technical High School in Windham, CT.

* Academic Calendar: CTECS follows a ten-month academic calendar (188 days per year.)

CTECS operates 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs.
