Assistant Professor - Chemistry

Position: One Year Assistant Professor - Chemistry
QUALIFICATIONS:

PhD in Chemistry is required. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and experience teaching General Chemistry Lectures and Laboratories. Ability to instruct other advanced chemistry courses and experience with STEM education preferred.

POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

* This position provides instruction in courses required for students majoring in Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Earth Science, Health Sciences and Nursing.

* Teaching responsibilities will include 12 load credits per semester teaching lecture and lab courses in general chemistry.

* Applicants must submit evidence of quality undergraduate teaching. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.

The One Year Assistant Professor - Chemistry is compensated at the Assistant Professor salary level in accordance with Connecticut State University American Association of University Professors (CSU-AAUP) Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.
