Position: Special Education Teacher 36-Week Contract *Up to 55/hr

Special Education Teacher for a 36‑week contract in Willimantic, Connecticut. Responsible for planning and delivering individualized instruction to elementary students with special needs. Earns up to $55 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs for elementary students
  • Manage classroom activities and provide direct instruction to K‑4 students
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff to enhance student success
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain clear communication with parents, administrators, and team members
Qualifications:
  • Connecticut Special Education Teacher License
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in educational settings
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
  • Background check required
