A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity leave at a middle school located in Willimantic, CT. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work onsite within a supportive educational environment, managing a middle school caseload.

Position Details
  • Schedule:

    Monday through Friday, 7:25 AM to 2:45 PM
  • Duration:
    March 5, 2026 – June 17, 2026

  • Suitable for candidates with experience presenting part‑time and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs
Qualifications
  • Certified or licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials such as CCC‑SLP, CFY, or school‑specific certification
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in middle school students
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students on the caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Provide guidance and support to part‑time presenters and CFY clinicians as applicable
