Manager - Spiritual Care

Job Summary:

Manages the daily operations and provides leadership within spiritual/pastoral care and integrative medicine. Develop relationships with leaders, staff and patients to provide supportive services and programs as needed. Maintains a team who understands the mission, vision and values of the organization and provides patient-oriented care to those they serve. Ensures that spiritual care is part of the care team and provides insight into how spiritual care can be a partner in the delivery of care.

Location:

Regional role supporting both Backus Hospital and Windham Hospital.

Qualifications:

Education:

Master's Level in Ministry or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. Two or more years of spiritual care experience in a leadership role preferred. Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Board Certified with the Association for Professional Chaplains (APC), National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC), or an equivalent certifying organization prior to hire date or job transfer date. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
Experience in supporting clinical outcomes in an acute care setting preferred. Knowledge of Epic, ethics and palliative medicine necessary.
