Make an impact working with students in specialized elementary Autism program classrooms for the school year. This part-time contract opportunity, beginning as soon as possible through June 2027, is located near Willimantic, CT, and requires either one Occupational Therapist (OT) or two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide direct services. With 22.5 hours per week, you will collaborate with dedicated teams across five classrooms within three schools, supporting approximately 50 students with diverse needs.

Qualifications:
- Current OT or COTA licensure (or eligibility) for the state of Connecticut
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, particularly with Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Ability to adapt interventions for varied student needs and learning styles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Reliability and professional integrity in all interactions and documentation
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to students, primarily within specialized Autism program classrooms
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and other service providers
- Maintaining accurate service records and progress notes according to school and district guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student progress reports as needed
- Traveling between school buildings within the district as required
