CNC Machinist

Our client, in South Windham, CT, is seeking multiple CNC Machinists to join their team. The ideal candidate will be expected to interpret technical drawings and blueprints, translating them into precise machining operations. You work will contribute to the overall success of their manufacturing operations and satisfied clients.

Location:

** South Windham, CT*
* Pay Range:  **$25/hr.

- $34/hr. (depending on qualifications and experience)*
* Shift:  
** 2nd shift:
Mon.

-Thurs.  1:00pm - 11:00pm*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Set up and operate CNC machines according to established procedures and specifications.

+ Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.

+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

+ Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

+ Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any defects encountered.

+ Other duties as responsibilities necessitate.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Basic understanding of CNC machining processes and equipment.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

+ Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* + Technical degree or certification in CNC machining.

+ Knowledge of programming CNC machines using G-code or similar languages.

Experience with quality control processes and inspection techniques.
