The Ridge Recovery Center (Rushford Center) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for a new state‑of‑the‑art substance‑use disorder treatment facility in Windham, CT. The RN will provide day‑to‑day direct care to individuals with substance use disorders and work with the clinical team to assess clients, administer medications, manage withdrawal symptoms, and provide nursing care and education regarding health, wellness, and recovery.

• Assess client conditions.
• Administer medications and manage withdrawal symptoms.
• Provide direct nursing care and education to clients.
• Collaborate with other professional, clinical, and medical staff to deliver patient care.
• Encourage and motivate individuals toward treatment goals.

• Valid CT RN license.
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• CPR & AED certification within six months of employment.
• Accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, or actively pursuing credentialing, preferred.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in psychiatric or substance‑abuse treatment preferred.
• Experience as a CNA, mental‑health worker, or related field desirable for newly graduated nurses.
