Our Registered Nurses work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary teams, focusing on patient‑centered care. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the RN utilizes evidence‑based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and medical staff directives. The RN uses the nursing process to develop individualized plans of care that meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.

Experience:

Working knowledge of the nursing process and customer service principles. National certification in specialty preferred. Minimum one year RN experience required.

Licensure/Certification:
Current CT RN license required (or in the process of obtaining). Current BLS certification required. ACLS and PALS certifications required within 3 months of hire.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
