Shift12 hour night shifts. Every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Program OverviewWindham Hospital offers a Nurse Residency program (Vizient/AACN) to help newly licensed nurses transition into clinical practice. The 12‑month program provides hands‑on training, clinical immersion, classroom education and mentorship.
Who Is Enrolled- Every newly licensed RN (completion of NCLEX with an active CT RN license) with less than one year of experience.
- Program enrollment is based on hire date.

- Active State of CT RN license. Once the active license is obtained, the nurse will be placed into the resident program cohort sessions.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain department‑specific certifications.
