Cook | St. Joseph's Living Center
$21.00 - $22.00/hour, based on experience
Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN
Shift Available: 5:30AM - 1:30PM and 11:00AM - 7:00PM | rotating weekends and holidays

Delivering Solutions that Matter:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, therapeutic diet requirements, and approved food safety and sanitation standards, including alternative meal selections when needed.
  • Review menus before food preparation, ensure ingredients and supplies are available for upcoming meals, and help maintain a clean, organized food storage area.
  • Follow all safety regulations, infection control practices, and sanitary procedures throughout food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the dietitian and interdisciplinary team, including CNAs, to implement dietary recommendations and support quality resident care.
Qualifications for Success:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1+ year experience as a Cook in a commercial setting
  • Serv Safe Managers Certificate
  • Prior experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
  • Ability to function both independently and as a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
