As a service associate you will focus on providing the best customer experience possible, partnering with multiple teammates to display, merchandise, stock, receive, and maintain the best retail environment possible. Work EnvironmentMackey’s is a fast‑paced retail environment that involves continuous interaction with customers, team members, and the ongoing evolution of the store.
Responsibilities require active movements that include reaching, bending, and lifting. Product weights range from 5–60 lbs. with occasional variations due to product condition.
The seasonality of the business and corresponding product offerings involves exposure to varying temperatures and allergens.
Environment requires spending a prolonged period of time on your feet, standing or walking, continuously between breaks.

- Leadership qualities such as leading by example and supporting the success of team members.
- Exhibit organization and prioritization skills to complete deliverables within deadlines while managing intermittent requests and interruptions.
- Recognize and seek opportunities to learn more about products and processes to enhance Mackey’s customer experience.
- Properly handle, maintain, and store merchandise to ensure product integrity and safety for customers and team members.
- Proficient in Windows‑based software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Maintain teamwork and diversity awareness by having an inclusive approach to working with customers and team members.
- Customer service, cashier, accounting office and/or service desk experience, particularly in a retail setting.
- Write and speak clearly, concisely and with tact in a variety of settings using effective communication skills; demonstrating empathy and respect for others at all times.
- Experience leading a team or project.
- Experience working in a bank or accounting firm.
- Experience handling large sums of cash or other tender.
Willing to comply with pre‑employment screening, which may include but is not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check.
