Educational Technician III – Study Hall Monitor

This is a 35 hour per week, school year position. The position is benefits eligible and full‑time. Candidates must be able to create and maintain positive relationships with students, school personnel, parents, and citizens, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a high quality of service.

• Carry out district and school policies, rules, schedules, regulations and goals consistent with school philosophy.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of materials or skills introduced by the teacher.
• Guide independent study.
• Alert and advise the teacher of any problems or special information.
• Identify and utilize community instructional resources.
• Direct supervision of high school aged students.
• Participate in in‑service trainings when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maine CHRC (Criminal History Records Check) approval.
• Maine State Educational Technician III certification at time of hire.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
