Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care (Req #: 83849)
Maine Health is offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible registered nurses with up to two years of RN experience and $20,000 for those with more than two years of experience.
Eligible candidates are hired into full‑time or part‑time RN positions. Bonus prorated for part‑time hires. Per diem hires are not eligible. Current Maine Health members cannot apply; former members must have been separated for more than six months to be eligible.
Maine Health Internal Medicine and Pediatrics team in Windham, ME is excited to share an opening for a registered nurse to join a collaborative, patient‑centered practice. The position is Monday through Friday, day shift.
Ideal candidates hold a BSN and have at least two years of RN experience, although other strong nursing backgrounds are considered. Candidates will work with a small team that values teamwork, communication, and exceptional patient care.
The role provides high quality care to patients and families via assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient‑care services to assist physicians and advanced practice practitioners.
MH RN II:
Competent in clinical role and able to care for most patients. Not able to care for every patient type within area of hire; demonstrates obtaining resources to develop skills and knowledge over time. Automatic advancement after one year as RN I if in good standing and meets RN I requirements.
Skills and Abilities
(KSAs)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).
