Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They immerse themselves in significant connections with customers, building new and deepening existing relationships.
They focus on uncovering customer needs and educating, demonstrating and recommending device and service solutions. This role is a learning role, where new associates work with their team and proactively build skills in preparation for the next level up as a Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.
- Build proficiency related to serving and selling to customers, while providing a world-class customer experience and building loyalty by: helping customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey (online, Customer Care, or in-store); exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store; side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare-bones device and service plan;
approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion. - Becomes skilled with and consistently uses digital tools in interactions and onboarding to actively demonstrate: how our coverage stacks up in the customer's neighborhood; why T-Mobile plans and services will let customers live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected and go further. Completes training on in-store experience, new skills and processes, knowledge of systems and reference resources. Makes the most of time on shift, seeking information between customers and learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
- Establishes relationships with and partners with T-Mobile employees across channels (including business and customer service) to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify and handoff small business leads, and support team initiatives in creating an inclusive environment.
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment preferred. (Required)

Hourly Base Pay: $19.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay.
Within the first 90 days working at T-Mobile, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full-time status. All employees at T-Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
