HVAC Service Technician

Dave's World, Maine's leading Mitsubishi Electric heat pump specialist, is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and maintain high-efficiency residential and light commercial systems. In this field role, you'll diagnose performance issues, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensure optimal comfort and energy savings for customers. You'll interact directly with homeowners and small businesses, explain findings, and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heat pump and HVAC systems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system performance checks
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and airflow issues using proper tools and procedures
• Start up, test, and commission new Mitsubishi Electric and similar systems as needed
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software or forms
• Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving best practices
• Respond to service calls in a timely, professional manner while upholding safety standards
• Collaborate with office staff and installation teams to resolve complex service issues
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean and working order
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures
