Purpose of the job
To support daily, weekly and monthly activities in areas of AR, AP and General Ledger accounting.
Main responsibility areas- Perform account reconciliations to assist closing of general ledger on a monthly basis related to smaller entities.
- Accounts Payables invoice and credit note processing
- Accounts Receivable cash posting for smaller entities in addition to providing coverage to larger entities as needed.
- Prepare various US Census Bureau government surveys as required.
- File monthly sales & use tax for relevant states
- Assist with intercompany payables and receivables with multiple companies, including monthly invoicing & payments.
- Assist with posting of payroll journal entries and other related payroll related accounting
- Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.

InternallyCommunicates within the Service Center organization in the US and Group Controlling.
ExternallyInteract with the Group assigned accounting firm for tax, book and internal audit as necessary.
Experience and education- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 1-3 years Previous experience (early career) in accounting related functions preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with management as required.
- Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize workload.
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
- SAP and/or ERP system experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable a plus
- Strong Analytical skills
- Manufacturing experience a plus but not required
