Contracts Manager (Hybrid) – Windsor Locks, CT, USA
Position OverviewAn experienced Contracts Manager will develop, analyze, evaluate, and review a range of customer‑facing contracts to ensure alignment with business and legal requirements. The role gathers necessary approvals, ensures contractual obligations are flowed down to the business, and collaborates with procurement, legal, and technical teams to mitigate risk. The candidate will also draft and negotiate non‑disclosure agreements, sales agreements, aftermarket services, and related contracts while maintaining compliance with U.S. export rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and amend contracts, proposal letters, claims, and assertions.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Secure licenses for use of Collins intellectual property.
- Interpret contracts and review proposals from other departments.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export rules and regulations.
- Resolve contract‑related issues with internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with contract managers across Collins Aerospace companies.
- Draft and negotiate non‑disclosure agreements and other sales or support agreements.
- Prepare contract executive summaries and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Work with the Office of General Counsel to meet legal and approval requirements.
- Handle special projects such as due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, policy creation, and joint‑venture support.
- Build strong customer relationships while protecting Collins Aerospace interests.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal business units and customers.

- University degree in a related field or advanced degree.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant contract experience (or 5 years with an advanced degree).
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of U.S. export compliance and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Aerospace industry experience.
- MBA or business degree.
