What You Will Do:
- Schedule, distribute and control work assignments to provide smooth flow of both priority and routine tasks to ensure efficient utilization of personnel and production requirements are met on a timely basis.
- Provide timely solutions to operational problems and delivery concerns, and work closely with all other functions to ensure demand is met by solving operational problems and eliminating bottlenecks
- Responsible for ensuring that executable plans are in place to meet deliverables and that actions/milestones are occurring as planned
- Act proactively to ensure a safe work environment and promote safe work habits through formal audits and continuous contact with the shop floor
- Ensure the team members are engaged and take an active role in identifying training needs and coaching employees
- Conduct performance reviews, lead coaching discussions, participate in hiring activities and resolve employee concerns
- Coordinate overtime and vacation planning to ensure adequate coverage during shift
- Participate and support CORE related activities and drive CORE initiatives
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
