• Current Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience working with students with a variety of disabilities across multiple grade levels
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaborative skills to partner with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Effective communication and documentation abilities
• Understanding of state and federal special education regulations

• Deliver individualized instruction and accommodations according to each student’s IEP
• Assess students’ educational, behavioral, and social needs to adapt lessons accordingly
• Facilitate a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student growth and confidence
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and parent conferences as required
• Collaborate regularly with support staff and administration to promote student success
