Job SummaryThe Engineer will be part of our System Integration organization, within the Systems Controls group in Windsor Locks, CT. This role focuses on system requirements, product specifications, and model‑based development. Responsibilities include defining and decomposing systems engineering requirements, conducting control systems modeling and dynamic analysis, developing advanced models, and defining system test plans.
Responsibilities- Define and decompose requirements for heating, cooling, and ventilation systems of aircraft.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to establish specifications, perform evaluations, and plan performance testing.
- Formulate conceptual designs for continuous and discrete control system requirements, developing lower‑level requirements to meet customer needs and business goals, with an emphasis on precise thermal‑management control and reliability.
- Develop advanced mathematical models or other computer analysis methods to create, evaluate, or modify designs according to customer engineering requirements.
- Perform system‑level analyses of thermal fluid systems and prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
- With minimal direction, create and implement common procedures and standard work across the organization.
- Investigate test results for consistency with performance predictions and compliance with system requirements.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in the Aerospace, Automotive, or Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in requirements definition and decomposition.
- Experience with Model-Based Design engineering.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, DOORS, Python, Modelica, or SysML.
- Experience presenting to both management and customers.
- Experience with task‑level planning and project execution.

USD 107,500 – 204,500 (U.S.‑based role; pay varies by experience, location, and business unit).
