Position: Sr. Mgr. DT O2C Functional Analyst (Hybrid)

Overview

We are hiring an ERP Business Analyst – Order to Cash (O2C) to help drive our Collins Process & Systems Transformation program. The program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems and customer‑related applications. Collins has chosen SAP’s S/4

HANA to enable our future ERP system and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

Responsibilities
  • Successfully deliver each phase of the program:
    Blueprint, Build, Testing, and Cutover & Hypercare.
  • Support the end‑to‑end O2C process areas including Inquiry and Quotation, sales order processing, Delivery, Billing and invoicing, credit management, Accounts Receivable and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business, digital, and cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and guide effective use of the ERP system.
  • Design and implement solutions that leverage S/4

    HANA, enhancing workstream processes in line with Collins operating model and industry best practices.
  • Create innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
  • Evaluate bolt‑on application options and recommend based on functional requirements and industry best practices.
  • Assist data and process teams with data mapping activities and testing.
  • Document solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies.
  • Deliver functional specifications for forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations, and workflows within scope.
  • Travel expectations: 25‑50%.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in SAP systems with Order to Cash expertise; bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), or equivalent combination of work experience and schooling.
  • Strong understanding of digital O2C processes such as quotes, contracts, sales orders, returns, delivery, shipping, pricing, billing finance, EDI, and customer applications. Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements.
  • Experience with SAP system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience on large, complex A&D enterprise projects or similar regulated, large organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, problem solving, and decision‑making.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines for multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in problem solving, change management, or process planning involving senior leadership.
